We have a slight change in plans. Kristy, Chad & Anna are no longer meeting us at the cabin. We are disappointed but understand. Chad is having some bad headaches and had to see a doctor. Please pray they find out what is causing these headaches.

They will however meet us in Southwestern Iowa at Viking Lake campground for the weekend. It is only 5 hrs from them. It is on our way to Mt. Rushmore. We have never camped in Iowa and are looking forward to trying this campground. We really got excited when Kristy told us to bring firewood because it is still cool enough for campfires in Iowa!

We are looking forward to camping with them this weekend. We will leave early Friday morning and should be there by late afternoon.

We have had a great few days at the cabin and had a chance to do a little hiking around here. Here’s a picture we took on our Meadows trail behind our cabin that we cleared the last time we were here. As you can see, things are quite green and grown up around here.

Also, David has included some digital postcard pictures he took on the mountain. We hope you enjoy them.

We will update again when we get to South Dakota. That should be the first of this coming week.
