We had a great weekend with Kristy, Chad & Anna. Even though it took us about 10 hrs to get to Viking Lake State Park Campground, it was a fairly easy trip. It was a very family oriented park. It had a lake and a lot of trails. The weekend was beautiful, the temperature was really nice. Cool enough to enjoy a campfire. They even delivered a Sunday paper to the campsites……what great service, we’ve never had that happen before.
What a great time playing with Anna……she is so cute. At nine months old she’s crawling and trying to pull up now. It was good to be able to spend some time with Kristy & Chad & Anna since they live so far away from us.
We headed out Sunday about noon to S. Dakota. It took about 7 hrs to get to Chamberlain, S. Dakota. We are staying here tonight, then moving on to the Badlands National Park (Monday morning). This is a beautiful place. We are staying in a campground that is overlooking the Missouri River, the water is so clear and blue/green.
Had a little rain last night and the temperature has dropped a little. Should be in the 50s at night & 70s during the day. Moving on now to explore and photograph the Badlands.
We’ll give you an update on the Badlands in a few days as we get a connection.

You guys are looking great! Hi to Chad, Kristy and Anna - you guys look terrific too! We are at the beach now and it is absolutely beautiful and the beach chair boy gave me a rub down and whoa, I better stop there....., he was only 15, but his hands felt at least 18 years old!!!!!, and I do not want to go there again :)Love you all, Patsy L, Nancy, Wyn, Trey, and Alyssa Lee ;)

Coool! Literally...been right next to hot down this way. By the pics and verbage, looks / sounds well and our Lord has His own travel plans for y'all. Stay flexible...and safe...and blessed. Will be praying that for you daily. Later bro & sis.

Oh yeah...PS...in the lasting words of Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen: "There's a whole lotta things that I've never done...but I've never had too much fun!!" I'm confident yous two's will be giving it a good go fir it. Fortunately we serve a God who loves a good time and a good laugh....that's why He gave us the duckbill platypus, dunchyano! Yep, I knew I liked Commander Cody for some reason.....now I know! Boy, God has created such a awesome place, every turn we make (or don't make)is beyond description! Truly a trip of a lifetime. Love and miss you all!

David & Jeanie, I know you are having the time of your life - pictures are beautiful. Good to see Clara happy. I'll pray for Chad. Please pray for my mom, she's back in the hospital. God bless you with safe travels, breath taking scenery and peaceful God moments. Enjoy and savor this time.
